Software



SCCM (Console) – Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager, formerly Systems Management Server is a systems management software product developed by Microsoft for managing large groups of computers running Windows. The console connects to your central administration site server or to your primary site servers. 

AdminUI.ConsoleBuilder.exe – is an administrative utility that allows you to build and customize SCCM consoles, nodes, functions, and queries.

Azure Portal – is a web-based, unified console that provides an alternative to command-line tools. With the Azure portal, you can manage your Azure subscription using a graphical user interface.

Intune – is a Microsoft cloud-based management solution that provides for mobile device and operating system management. It aims to provide Unified Endpoint Management of both corporate and BYOD devices in a way that protects corporate data.

Chocolatey – is a package manager for Windows (like apt-get but for Windows). It was designed to be a decentralized framework for quickly installing applications and tools that you need. It is built on the NuGet infrastructure currently using PowerShell as its focus for delivering packages from the distros to your door, err computer.

Microsoft Visual Studio – Community Edition – powerful IDE, free for students, open-source contributors, and individuals.

Python IDLE – IDLE is the standard Python development environment. Its name is an acronym of “Integrated Development Environment”. It works well on both Unix and Windows platforms. It has a Python shell window, which gives you access to the Python interactive mode. It also has a file editor that lets you create and edit existing Python source files.

Anaconda – the open-source Anaconda Distribution is the easiest way to perform Python/R data science and machine learning on Linux, Windows, and Mac OS X. It is the industry standard for developing, testing, and training on a single machine.

Spyder –  is a powerful scientific environment written in Python, for Python, and designed by and for scientists, engineers and data analysts.

PyCharm –  is an integrated development environment used in computer programming, specifically for the Python language.

SQL Server Management Studio – SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) is an integrated environment for managing any SQL infrastructure, from SQL Server to Azure SQL Database. SSMS provides tools to configure, monitor, and administer instances of SQL Server and databases.

PowerShell ISE – the Windows PowerShell Integrated Scripting Environment (ISE) is a host application for Windows PowerShell.

AutoHotkey –  is a free, open-source scripting language for Windows that allows users to easily create small to complex scripts for all kinds of tasks such as: form fillers, auto-clicking, macros, etc.

AutoIt – AutoIt v3 is a freeware BASIC-like scripting language designed for automating the Windows GUI and general scripting. It uses a combination of simulated keystrokes, mouse movement and window/control manipulation in order to automate tasks in a way not possible or reliable with other languages (e.g. VBScript and SendKeys). AutoIt is also very small, self-contained and will run on all versions of Windows out-of-the-box with no annoying “runtimes” required!

Orca MSI Editor – is a database table editor for creating and editing Windows Installer packages and merge modules. The tool provides a graphical interface for validation, highlighting the particular entries where validation errors or warnings occur.

SuperOrca MSI Editor – is a direct replacement to the “Orca” MSI Editor from Microsoft. SuperOrca may be used to examine and modify an MSI database in order to distribute a new MSI package. When QSetup delivers an MSI Editor, SuperOrca delivers an MSI Database Editor and let you discover the depth of MSI Database.

Gimp – is a cross-platform image editor available for GNU/Linux, OS X, Windows and more operating systems. It is free software, you can change its source code and distribute your changes.

Mac Packages (WhiteBox) – Whether you are a software developer who just completed a project and it’s time to work on shipping it, or you are an administrator and you need to deploy a plugin on the Mac computers of your network, create an installation package or distribution for Mac OS X 10.5 or later.

Mac Iceberg (WhiteBox) – is an Integrated Packaging Environment (IPE) that allows you to create packages or metapackages conforming to the Mac OS X specifications.

Mac Pacifist (CharlesSoft) – is a shareware application that opens Mac OS X .pkg package files, .dmg disk images, and .zip, .tar, .tar.gz, .tar.bz2, and .xar archives and allows you to extract individual files and folders out of them.

CMMac (SCCM Mac Packaging) – You can create a Configuration Manager application for a Mac by using the CMAppUtil tool. The CMAppUtil tools converts a Mac package into a Configuration Manager .cmmac file.

Xcode – is an integrated development environment for macOS containing a suite of software development tools developed by Apple for developing software for macOS, iOS, iPadOS, watchOS, and tvOS.

Hopper v4 – reverse engineering tool that lets you disassemble, decompile and debug your applications.

Sublime Text – A sophisticated text editor for code, markup and prose.

Wireshark – is a free and open-source packet analyzer. It is used for network troubleshooting, analysis, software and communications protocol development, and education.

Fiddler –  is an HTTP debugging proxy server application originally written by Eric Lawrence, formerly a program manager on the Internet Explorer development team at Microsoft.

Dameware – Remote access software for Windows, Mac, Linux workstations, and servers with mobile integration.

ProcMon – is an advanced monitoring tool for Windows that shows real-time file system, Registry and process/thread activity;  Suite  SysInternals Blog

ProcExp – shows you information about which handles and DLLs processes have opened or loaded.

PsExec – is a light-weight telnet-replacement that lets you execute processes on other systems, complete with full interactivity for console applications, without having to manually install client software.

Strings – scans the file you pass it for UNICODE (or ASCII) strings of a default length of 3 or more UNICODE (or ASCII) characters.

PAExec – lets you launch Windows programs on remote Windows computers without needing to install software on the remote computer first.

ExeScript – is a software tool that was designed in order to provide individuals with a simple method of transforming Visual Basic and Java scripts, and batch files to executables.

WinRar – is a powerful archive manager. It can backup your data and reduce the size of email attachments, decompress RAR, ZIP and other files downloaded from Internet and create new archives in RAR and ZIP file format.

Notepad++ –  is a free (as in “free speech” and also as in “free beer”) source code editor and Notepad replacement that supports several languages.

x64dbg – An open-source x64/x32 debugger for windows.

WinDbg – can be used to debug kernel-mode and user-mode code, to analyze crash dumps, and to examine the CPU registers while the code executes.

Reko Decompiler –  is a C# project containing a decompiler for machine code binaries.

Ghidra – is a software reverse engineering (SRE) framework developed by NSA’s Research Directorate for NSA’s cybersecurity mission.

MSI Package Builder – Create MSI Packages and Convert EXE to MSI With No Hassle.

IDA Freeware – The Interactive Disassembler is a disassembler for computer software which generates assembly language source code from machine-executable code.

Hex Editor Neo – is the fastest large files optimized binary file editor for Windows platform developed by HHD Software Ltd.
